We entered this path with wanting to work together, share in the Japanese heritage and share our story.
We believe that There is a need and always room for traditional folk art in today's modern times, it creates a more inspired , vibrant and engaged society.
For us there are so many efforts to sustain and support wood art and Kokeshi tradition and culture.
Our approach is simply to work with our hands and the raw materials to create a little Kokeshi personality with beautiful woods
Kokeshi are believed to bring prosperity,peace and a sense of safety to the houses that they occupy

Sunobu has a very joyful, contagious smile! You cannot help smiling back! Her roundness adds to her overall friendliness. Her black hair bun boasts a rather large, impressive stick as an artistic adornment! Sunobu’s body is decorated with impressive designs that seem to be partly engraved and partly painted. As is their unique style, the make up of the wood dictates the enhancements. Jacob and Lisa have tremendous style in all that they do!
